Built as a home, Lamari has all the comforts one would expect to find in a well-established household. Anything from binoculars to board games or from wildflower reference books to DVDs is available.

Attention to well-being is of the utmost importance. Huge deep sofas & big old kilim arm chairs create a style that is comfortable & deliberately understated.

The two double bedrooms & one twin, which can be made up as a double, all have en-suite bathrooms & rain-head power showers as well as hand showers. The spacious living areas are cool & welcoming. All bedrooms have A/C.

The Imperial Strom sprung-mattresses are extremely comfortable with finest goose-down pillows & crisp cotton sheets.

Each room has French doors leading onto the terrace.

Dining al fresco

The main living room opens at one side into a well-equipped kitchen & continues through five metre sliding doors at the same level outside into a covered dining terrace with double BBQ.

Sweet-scented jasmine trails around the beams of the pergola & fills the evening air with perfume.

This entertaining area has the most spectacular views out to sea to the sunset & the islands of Erikousa & Mithraki.

Candles flickering in the moonlight give a magical light to good wine & company, creating a wonderful experience.

Siesta

On the mezzanine overlooking the sitting room is a pleasant sitting area with sofa, chairs, desk, internet TV & DVD player with numerous DVDs. It makes an ideal space for teenagers or youngsters needing downtime in the cool or for guests wanting privacy, a siesta or quiet reading get-away.

Wi-fi

Wi-Fi can be accessed from all areas of the house & terrace. A Sonos system provides world-wide radio, a connection for an iPod, iPhone or iPad & a large selection of music.

Getting here

Lamari is 50 minutes drive along the coastal road from the airport. View on map
Car hire can be arranged either with delivery to the villa or collection from the airport.
There are some good local taxi companies which know the villa well & by pre-arrangement will collect you on arrival from the airport & drop you conveniently at the olive press.
In the past summer seasons frequent charter flights from the UK & other countries have operated & are worth checking:
EasyJet provides daily flights from most of the main airports in the UK.
Ryanair flies from Stansted and other locations.
British Airways flies from Heathrow.
Aegean provides a direct service from Gatwick.

Accessibility

The property is suitable for some with mobility problems but has not been constructed particularly with this in mind.
The living space & bedrooms are on the ground floor with no steps preventing access but there are no handrails in the bathrooms.

Please note

The property has some low walls and the sculptural pool has a drop on the far side & is not for paddling.
Children must be supervised on the terrace at all times.
