There is a house behind Lamari facing the other way. It belongs to the Rouselis family who owned the property when it was a working olive press. Our past guests have been completely unaware of its presence. The villa is surrounded by olive groves and countryside and is completely private.
Lamari is 7 minutes by car from the small town of Acharavi, which has a bank, ATM machines, well-stocked supermarkets, small family-run produce stores, an excellent local fish merchant, a butcher, many bars and a some extremely good seaside tavernas.

Lamari is 50 minutes drive from the airport. There are a couple of good local taxi companies which know the villa well, and by pre-arrangement by you will collect you on arrival & drop you conveniently at the olive press. Details will be provided on booking.
Alternatively, car hire can be arranged with the large companies Hertz, Avis etc or with one of the very good local companies we recommend in our booking information. Car hire is essential & the local companies either deliver to the villa, or arrange vehicle collection from the airport. It is worth booking a hire car well in advance in order not to limit your choice.
Spiros cleans the pool three times a week before 8am. Maid service is arranged every 4/5 days. To respect the privacy of our guests we try to arrange services discreetly.
You will find we have provided most of what you need to help keep packing as simple as possible: beach towels, hair dryers, shampoo, shower gel and obviously all bedroom linens/in-house towels etc.
In the kitchen are salt, pepper, olive oil, & all the basic herbs and spices; the garden provides many more.
We know the area extremely well and provide a list of recommended local tavernas and places to visit with maps and details of the local area.
To secure your booking a deposit of 25% is required. The remaining payment is due 6 weeks before your stay.
We take a £300 returnable breakage and damage deposit which is returned in full within 2 weeks of departure unless deductions are necessary, in which case deductions will be taken and the remaining amount returned within 14 days.
